Directions
The Dew Drop Dance Hall is in 400 block of Lamarque Street.
The Mandeville Trailhead is located in the area between Lafitte and Gerard (two blocks north of Monroe)--Physical address is 675 Lafitte Street.
How to get to Old Mandeville:
From Metairie:
Take Causeway Bridge North to Mandeville.
Stay in right lane when coming off of bridge, and veer to right.
Approx. 300 yards you will come to a traffic light (Monroe Street)
Take a right on to Monroe Street.
Go east on Monroe Street, and continue through two traffic lights.
First traffic light (Lafitte Street) and the second light (Gerard Street).
To Trailhead: turn left on to Gerard Street and proceed two blocks north-Trailhead parking on left by fountains.
To Dew Drop:
Continue two blocks east past Gerard Street to Lamarque Street.
Turn left onto Lamarque, and the Dew Drop is on the left (400 block).
From Slidell or Hammond:
Take 1-12 east or west to the LA 59 exit, Exit Number 65.
Go approx 2.9 miles south on LA 59, where it becomes LA 59/Gerard Street.
For Trailhead: Continue South on Gerard Street less than 1/2 mile (fire station on left).
Turn right after crossing old RR tracks into Trailhead parking lot.
To Dew Drop:
Continue south on Gerard about 1/2 mile until you come to a traffic light.
Turn left on to Monroe Street.
Continue two blocks east to Lamarque Street.
Turn left onto Lamarque, and the Dew Drop is on the left (400 block).
